At Aspen Diabetes and Endocrine Clinic, we offer an osteoporosis screening package designed to assess your bone health and identify any underlying conditions that may contribute to osteoporosis. Our screening package provides an evaluation by our endocrinologist, Dr Ester Yeoh, to ensure you receive a thorough and accurate assessment.
What’s Included in the Screening Package:
1. Two Consultations with an Endocrinologist
- Initial consultation to discuss your medical history and risk factors.
- Follow-up consultation to review your test results and discuss the next steps in your care.
2. Medical History & Assessment
- Detailed review of your personal and family medical history.
- Assessment of lifestyle factors that may impact bone health.
3. Radiology Investigation
- Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) to measure bone density and determine the presence
and extent of osteoporosis.
4. Laboratory Tests
- Full Blood Count
- Calcium Panel
- Vitamin D
- Liver Function Profile
- Kidney Function Profile
- Testosterone Level (Men Only)
